The main instrument I use is the Nord Micro Modular, a analogue modeled recreation of an old style modular synthesiser, I am also learning jMax and csound, which allow for more sound experimentation.

Other things I use regularly are microphones, a bass guitar, genuine anaogue synths. I also use a variety of audio processors, including the Lexicon MPX100 and Digitech Studio Quad, and a selection of guitar pedals.

Another important part of the sound, is Minidisc artifacting, created by repeatedly copying part of a track on and off of Minidiscs, this causes an unnatural cleaness and some compression in the sound, which can be used to good effect.
